Principle

Codasystem has created Shoot and Proof™, an integrated photo and information management tool for in-the-field use with which photos can be timestamped, georeferenced, indexed, archives, certified and easily shared.
Furthermore, photos taken with this system have legal value and can be used as evidence of WHO did WHAT, WHEN and WHERE.

How does it work?

Principe 01

A document, an object, a place or an event needs to be monitored.

  • using a Smartphone:
  • you take a photograph
  • or you make a short video
  • or record an audio clip.
  • The item is then enhanced and tagged with:
  • the time and date,
  • georeferencing data,
  • and, if necessary, other handset information.

> It is then immediately encoded and steganographised.


Principe 01
  • he item and the report that can be attached are encrypted and sent to our servers using GPRS, EDGE, 3G or WiFi technology, or via your PC's Internet connection.

  • The Shoot and Proof server authenticates the author of the photo and also checks the integrity of the file generated.
  • The server can then e-mail the recipient(s) that you have selected, informing them that they are going to receive a file.
  • Files stored on our servers are archived in compliance with the European digital archiving standard (NFZ 42 013).

  • The server stores the file in your private client space.

  • The recipients receive the e-mail and can then access the item via the URL provided and download a copy.
  • As for the original - it remains permanently archived in our systems.
